Privacy Policy

KOFOUND (“KoFound”, “we”, “us”) operates https://kofound.app. Our registered address is Maqqi Square, 4th Floor, Shoe Market, Flat No. 3, Block A, Karachi, Pakistan. This policy applies to that site and any service we launch under the KoFound name.

KoFound is pre-launch

As of the date above, KoFound has not launched its marketplace. The site currently collects waitlist sign-ups and contact messages only — there is no live account system, no Shopify store connection, and no payment processing yet. We will update this policy before any of that goes live, and it will describe exactly what changes.

Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

• Waitlist sign-up. The name, email address, and role (brand or creator) you submit through the waitlist form.
• Contact form. The name, email address, and message you submit through the contact form. These messages are delivered to our inbox via a third-party form-delivery service (EmailJS); we do not store the message content in a database beyond what arrives in that inbox.
• Usage data. Aggregate, privacy-preserving analytics about page visits (e.g. which pages are viewed, approximate location by country/region, device type), collected through Vercel Web Analytics. This does not identify you individually and does not use tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

We do not collect payment card details, government ID numbers, or Shopify store credentials at this time.

How we use your information

• To notify you when KoFound launches or when something relevant to your waitlist role changes.
• To reply to messages sent through the contact form.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used, so we can improve it.
• To meet legal, security, and fraud-prevention obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed for them to provide that service:

• Cloudflare — hosts the website and the underlying database that stores waitlist entries.
• EmailJS — delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox.
• Vercel — provides privacy-preserving, cookieless page analytics.

We do not otherwise share your information with third parties, except where required by law.

Data retention

We keep waitlist and contact submissions for as long as they remain useful for the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us, at any time, to:

• tell you what information we hold about you;
• correct information that is inaccurate;
• delete your information (for example, remove you from the waitlist).

To do any of this, email hello@kofound.app. We reply to every message ourselves.

Security

We use reputable infrastructure providers (Cloudflare) and standard access controls to protect the information we hold. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

KoFound is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we collect or use your information — most notably when the marketplace and payments launch — we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
